Perioral Lines (Upper Lip Lines) Treatment

Perioral lines appear on the top of the upper lip mainly as a  result of the activity of orbicularis oris and age-related degenerative changes in the connective tissue of the skin, including breakdown of collagen and elastin.
Perioral lines can be filled with small volume of dermal filler. Combination of dermal fillers and wrinkle relaxing injections may be a better option for deeper perioral lines. Other treatments, such microneedling, can also be a treatment option or add on treatment. Treating the lip border with dermal filler can further complement perioral lines treatment.
